Backend Developer
Software
Department: Software
Reports to: Juan Ignacio Honda
Mission & Responsibilities
- Building and maintaining APIs for internal and external use, ensuring smooth integration with other systems and services.
- Developing and maintaining server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
- Collaborating with front-end developers and other team members to define objectives and create cohesive, functional code.
- Implementing security measures and data protection protocols, complying with legal regulations and best practices.
- Issue Resolution: Debug, identify, and resolve complex software issues, providing efficient and permanent solutions to prevent recurrence.
Personal & Professional Skills
- Knowledge of best practices in development, security, and testing.
- Experience working with documentation tools such as Swagger or Postman.
- Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of caching tools such as Redis.

- Experience with Jira/Trello and Bitbucket.
Required Education and Experience
- Experience in designing and optimizing relational and non-relational databases.
- Strong proficiency in server-side languages such as JavaScript (Node.js) and Python.
- In-depth experience with AWS database technologies (Amazon RDS, DynamoDB, Aurora).
- Knowledge of RESTful API development and microservices architecture.
- Understanding of security practices and data protection in web applications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach to technical challenges.
- Preferably, strong English communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a diverse team environment.
