Branding and rebranding are two sides of the same coin. While branding establishes a company’s identity, rebranding is an evolution of that identity to better align with current goals, market trends, or a refreshed vision. At TAG, we recently reached a point where a rebranding was not just needed but was an exciting opportunity to refine our visual identity. This article will focus solely on TAG´s logotype and submark, acknowledging that branding encompasses much more than just these elements.

What inspired the new logotype?
Our commitment to simplicity, minimalism, and transparency inspired the new design.

What does the new logotype represent?
It represents our streamlined approach to delivering results—minimal yet strong, bold, and impactful.

Why did you choose this color scheme?
The colors, in fact, reflect our modern, dynamic, balanced, and forward-thinking ethos.

What does the logotype symbolize?
The logomark is a nod to the unity and collaboration within TAG.

How does the logotype reflect TAG’s mission?
The minimalism mirrors our mission to strip away complexity and focus on what matters most.

What challenges did you face during the redesign?
Balancing modernity with a sense of familiarity was a key challenge. On the other hand, bringing color to the diversity we represent in a way that reflects our core and true identity.

What message does the new logotype send?
It signals our readiness to adapt and innovate in a constantly changing landscape. For example, The ‘G’ tilted and facing up to the right-hand superior corner represents our face-forward way of approaching things and our constant search and exploration of new horizons.

How did you decide on the final design?
We made sure everything inside the team felt reflected in this representation.

What makes the submark unique?
For instance, one of our core values is collaboration. We love to share our work and invite people to tag along. A bold, filled-within tag icon represents the way we connect with our clients.

To conclude, TAG´s logo journey began with a complex design, full of various elements. However, through a deliberate process of elimination, it gradually simplified, stripping it down to its core components. Moreover, This minimalistic approach highlights clarity and impact. Lastly, each element was chosen for its significance, and the final disposition reflects a balanced, modern aesthetic that aligns perfectly with TAG’s values.
